Weekend Reading: Summer Edition

By Kevin

It’s almost June, and it finally is starting to feel like summer this week. Last week, we had a company BBQ but the weather was very wet and it was cold enough to freeze our hands and see our breath. Since the week started, the weather has been nice and warm, and that is less common up here in the great white north. It’s finally nice enough for us to go out on our balcony, so I’m enjoying it. 🙂

Hope that my friends to the south enjoyed their long Memorial Day weekend, and that the weather over there was nice and enjoyable. Although this is an American holiday, I’d still like to say thank you to all who have fought against tyranny and for freedom.

What a great roundup — what I really like about this is that it doesn’t just include personal finance blogs, but instead expands into all the other related fields, like health and happiness, that are essential for the lifestyle that’s ultimately the “point” of everything we money bloggers write about. Thanks for all the link recommendations!

It is hot up here too! I felt so bad for my daughter playing every minute of a soccer game yesterday. It was 94 degrees and the sun was blazing! It seems we go from freezing cold to extreme heat and humidity. Spring seems to be lost these days.

Thanks for the link, and enjoy your balcony!

Thanks for including me Kevin. You’re right, finally starting to feel like summer.

Ottawa really has only 3 seasons now. Damn cold, the rainy season, and very hot! I’ll take the latter any day 😉

I wonder if there ever was such a thing as three months of Spring up here. At least now I can look forward to the outdoors, when the weather permits. Thanks for stopping by, guys!
