Weekend Reading: The Heat Wave Edition

Temperatures rise to the mid-thirties, the air is stuffy and muggy, and my body is drenched in sweat: It’s just another day in our recent heat wave! Although I do prefer the heat to the cold, I also prefer it when I’m able to sleep! We are located near the top floor of a large apartment complex, and there are windows on both sides of the unit. Usually we don’t need to use air conditioning since the natural ventilation of the wind cools us off enough. Recently, however, wind at 32 degrees is still too hot! I knew I should have held off on selling that air conditioner; I could have sold it for double! 😉
